25 Sep 2014 - Condor Flugdienst goes mobile

2e Systems designed and implemented a mobile check-in solution for Condor Flugdienst which included enhancements that Condor commissioned from 2e Systems. Passengers can purchase a seat during the check in process, change their seat, and can receive a check-in invitation for reservations made on the booking engine. The mobile boarding pass can be downloaded into the passenger's iPhone Passbook or received as a PDF file. Android PassWallet is coming soon.

27 Aug 2014 - 2e Systems released ECAir IBE

The IBE was produced in responsive web design and contains many features such as an interface to Amadeus, public and profile flight bookings, support of interline and codeshare bookings with partner airlines, access to web fares, APIS (Advanced Passenger Information System) data collection, meal selection, multiple payment channels (including cash and credit card), manage my booking and an e-Vouchers module to effect passenger discounts at point of sale.

17 Jul 2014 - 2e Systems streamlines crew communications for Virgin America

July 2014 saw eeCrewConnect® go online Virgin America. The project kicked off in early February 2014, went into beta testing 4 months later, and then migrated to a live environment in July 2014. It was reported that the Virgin America crew's adoption of this new technology enhancement was initially over 80% and is still growing, which is indicative of the crew's overwhelming acceptance of improved crew communications.

02 Jul 2014 - airBaltic introduces Bitcoin payment

Innovation, together with providing passengers with greater choice, is key for airlines in differentiating themselves from their competitors. airBaltic, recognised as one of TOP 10 airline innovators globally, enhanced their current client off ering by being the first airline in the world to introduce Bitcoin as form of payment for air tickets. 2e Systems enhanced the IBE on behalf of airBaltic to enable greater payment choices for their passengers and thereby enhancing the passenger experience.

03 Mar 2014 - 2e Expands into Australasia Region

2e Systems GmbH has founded a subsidiary in Australia called 2e Systems Pty Ltd. The company will officially commence operation in June 2014.

The founding of this new subsidiary compliments the existing group of 2e companies, meaning that 2e is now represented in 4 countries: Germany, UK, Croatia and Australia. Phil Douglas, CEO of the parent company says: "We are excited about opening our new daughter company and especially at the potential of bringing our products into the Australasian and South Pacific regions. These products have been providing mission-critical internet and mobile functionality to prominent airlines throughout Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Russia, Middle East and the USA for the past 14 years."

05 Feb 2014 - Austrian Airlines online with 2e Systems eePaxConnect Platform

2e recently supported Austrian Airlines in launching a new passenger notifications platform. Called yourUpdate, the solution notifies passengers of flight delays as well as cancellations via E-mail or SMS.

In the event of delays of 30 minutes or more, or if a flight has to be cancelled, customers will automatically be sent an SMS or E-mail informing them of the current flight status and contact details for rebooking, without the need to register. In addition, all members of the Miles and More frequent flyer program already registered online will automatically receive the SMS or E-mail as well.

At Vienna Airport yourUpdate will also notify passengers automatically if their gate has been changed.

According to Isabella Reichl, Director Marketing at Austrian Airlines, "Receiving up-to-date information is more and more important to our customers, especially during the winter months, when inclement weather often inhibits air travel. We are pleased to work with the robust solution offered by 2e Systems and look forward to enhancements to the platform in 2014."

30 Jan 2014 - 2e supports Air Baltic with migration to SIXT for online booking engine

Air Baltic has recently migrated their online car provider to SIXT. In addition to stand-alone car-rental reservations, it is as well fully integrated into the online booking process, allowing users a seamless and comprehensive online booking experience. Car rental reservations is available at over 250 worldwide destinations. Customers can also book insurance, hotels, extra baggage, special meals as well as a host of other ancillary items on the site.
