29 Aug 2012 - Helvetic Airways goes online with 2e Systems eeDepart Web Check-in application

Helvetic Airways has boosted its operational efficiency with a new online check-in solution, eeDepart. The system went online on the 8th of August 2012. The carrier now provides Helvetic passengers the ability to check-in online prior to departure.

2e Systems' multi-host DCS check-in solution will communicate with departure control systems AxsControl and Codeco in the Airline's operated airports of Zurich, Bern, Geneva, Rostock, Cardiff and Bristol. Passengers departing from these airports will be able to check-in, select seats, and print their boarding pass via the Internet using the eeDepart module online.

The new Web Check-in application is part of 2e Systems' eeSky Suite which not only offers online but also mobile and kiosk check-in solutions. In addition the module can also be combined with a powerful internet booking engine, notification or loyalty modules.

24 Aug 2012 - Austrian Airlines offers Premium Catering on Request for Economy Class on Regularly Scheduled Flights

Austrian Airlines recently enhanced its offering for Economy Class passengers by providing the option to order freshly prepared three-course meals from DO & CO, in addition to the free snacks and meals which are currently offered. The new service can be preordered starting at a charge of €15 per person and is available on most European and long-haul flights.

When booking online at and, the online booking engine provided by 2e Systems, customers can order the special three-course menu as an extra service up to 36 hours before departure. A wide range of snacks, special children meals, from breakfast to dinner to both hot and cold entrees can be selected. In Vienna, passengers also have the possibility to directly order their desired menu directly at DO & CO at the à la carte Desk in the Austrian Star Alliance Terminal up to one hour before their flight departs.

29 Mar 2012 - Condor and 2e Systems announce new feature enhancement to online check-in

Condor and 2e Systems are pleased to announce a new service feature enhancement to the online check-in services offered by the carrier.

Effective the upcoming winter schedule, Condor passengers will be able to check-in online through to their final destination. The service allows for a more seamless check-in process for customers with connection flights between Condor and is available up to 30 hours prior scheduled departure time.

The online service hosted by 2e Systems already provides customers a stress free check-in experience as passengers can print boarding cards at home or the office and save time at the airport. In addition, those travelling with carry-on baggage can go directly to the gate and others travelling with baggage have a special drop off area which expedites the overall check-in process. The service is available for all classes on all Condor operated flights.

03 Jan 2012 - 2e Systems launches first Agency Internet Booking Engine for Hahn Air

Hahn Air Hahn Air launched a new, dynamic, web-based flight booking engine allowing travel professionals to book flights on over 250 carriers at published rates. This innovative tool is powered by the industry renowned 2e Systems engine eeBook, part of the eeSky Suite of products.

The new engine provides travel professionals with access to published rates, and affords agents the ability to book flights that may not normally be available for sale in their in-house booking tools. The criteria for using the internet engine include: that the agent becomes a registered user on the site, is part of the Hahn Air Ticketing Centre network and uses a virtual HR UATP Corporate Card as form of payment. The upgrade to become a Hahn Air Ticketing Centre as well as the usage of the UATP card does not involve any extra costs or obligations.
